Who Can Join?
Annuitants, retirees, and terminated employees of the Chevron Companies are eligible for membership, to include those who:
- Currently draw pensions, disability or special compensation;
- At date of retirement elected to take annuity benefits as lump-sum payments; and
- At termination were vested and will be eligible to receive pension upon attaining age 55;
Members’ spouses/domestic partners who do not qualify for membership under the above rules will be considered as honorary, non-dues-paying members ineligible to vote on Chapter matters or hold an elected office.
Eligible individuals may join the Chapter in their first month of retirement or cessation of employment with the Chevron companies or at anytime thereafter.
Membership in the Chapter shall terminate upon death or resignation. Surviving spouses/domestic partners shall continue as honorary members until the following year. All surviving spouses are eligible for regular membership.
