Glenn Ewan

At the 2022 Holiday Event, to recognize Glenn Ewan upon his retirement from the President of the Metro Houston Chapter, Charlie Rhoads and Brian Batiste paid tribute to Glenn’s tremendous legacy of service and many accomplishments during his tenure. His service to our chapter and the Chevron Retirees Association include:

• Newsletter Editor
• Communications Chair
• Vice President
• President (7 Years)
• Developed MHC Website (with Frank Coe)
• Coordinated merger with Texaco Retirees Association
• Initiated First Year Free Program for new members
• Held Zoom Meetings during COVID-19 Pandemic to keep members engaged
• Increased membership from 420 in 2016 to 1488, with 928 dues-paying members
• Hosted 2018 CRA National Meeting in San Antonio
• Initiated online luncheon registration and use of PayPal for dues payments and scholarship fund
• Past Co-Chair and current member - CRA Central Meeting Admin. Committee (CMAC)
• CRA Demographics, Communications, Membership Committees
• Current Global Affiliates Vice President

Highlighting this was a presentation of a gift from the entire BOD of a working model pump jack with an engraved plaque with the Chevron and MHC logos, shown enlarged below for detail. Glenn received a well-deserved standing ovation from all the attendees!
